Title: Window woes
Post by: Hairyduck on August 08, 2006, 18:28:07
How can I stop the window on my 90 from sliding down of its own accord? Its a bit of a security nightmare as the window can just be pushed down (although someone would have to be pretty desperate to nick it!)

any ideas?

That'll be the regulator won't it?

Is it hard to wind up as well?

not that difficult to wind up???

Regulator is the two crossed pieces of metal in there, is that correct?

I thought that the regulator was the spring thing and if that goes then the glass will slide down but I could well be wrong. I've had to change a winder mechanism in a RR and it was well fiddly but on a 90 it should be easier.

The glass in my door would fall down not slide but just drop as it fell off the bottom metal strip that holds it up. But I don't think that's your problem. It was tricky to fix as well!

Not much heklp am I?
