Title: Busy weekend ?
Post by: datalas on August 14, 2006, 09:33:58: For those of you who might be called upon to help repair the heater assembly in a 200tdi discovery, first of all decline politely, and, assuming that doesn't work, tell them to stick it in their ear...

Quite how LandRover got *so* worried about the heater falling out that they built a car around it is anyones guess :?

Total time taken, around 8 hours including rewiring the radio ...

Post by: Sheddy on August 14, 2006, 20:59:55: When Landrover designed the Discovery, they placed a heater matrix on the floor and said to the engineers .... build a car to fit that. A lot of car manufacturers do the same but Renault do it with dashboard lights.

Could have been worse ... you could have been doing this! .....
