Title: What colour do I paint my hybrid??

Alot of you know my hybrid as a reddy orange colour.

Hower it used to look like this, then faded over 5 years to whats below.  
  Plus she has different wings, doors, front flaps etc.  All looking a bit "multi coloured"

So as she is being rebuilt she deserves a re-spray for the winter but alas what colour!

I fancy a change!  

Anyone suggesting pink with yellow spots will be shown the door  :wink:

I think she looks really good in Orange, Ash.  I was always intending to do one of mine in that colour.

I think yellow is always a good LR colour and less popular now than it was in the Camel days.  The old Rapid-Rovers (now KCC) racing 90's were bright yellow (sort of the same colour as the smileys! :wink: ) and looked great.

Generally I think it is nice to have something just a bit different.  My other favourite Land Rover colour is dark navy blue.

Im split between bright TONKA toy yellow and have Tim and Jo make a me a few huge TONKA toy stickers


or.... purple.  


Kind of warming to the TONKA toy......  :twisted:

There was ahybrid someone was looking at buying recently and every bit of it was purple... looked like Rovers round bits... *G*

I reckon yellow too, Its the new black.  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:
I would still have the tonka graphics done in black maybe 12"X46"

PURPLE! is a great colour for a motor

i resprayed a litle stripped out street racer purple i had a few years ago. finished the look of a treat, i reacon it would work on your truck as well

get somene on here to do a photo shop of it in a few different colours  :D

Yellow.. no doubt about it.. thats what I wanted to spray Hornet in.. big bright and bold.. make a statement...

Orange'n'black tiger stripes... with a pair of cunningly disguised tigers eyes somewhere at the front...  (headlamps?)

I was gonna suggest that but some folks think I am obsessed with lime green. :roll:
I use it as the main colour for the bits I make as I wanted to get them  noticed 8)

The onyl prob with yellow, ash, is that theres alreay a "yellow peril" in the club !

Kawasaki Green would be on my list....

I use ford signal green for my "bits".
Nicer tone to kwaka green, Mind you if you do go the ford route I could send you some of my graphics  :wink:  :wink:  :wink:

a lot of the old skool ford colours are cool, signal green, signal yellow, signal orange, how about olympic blue like a mk1 escort rs2000 not the brightest colour but it means you can put darker blue vinyl graphics on would look pretty cool.

or ford citrine yellow that odd yellowy green that mondeos where painted in would stand out lol

Looking at the clock on screen a max of 20 mins.
I did mess up once and have to start again. Not perfect but he gets the idea. :wink:
I was tempted to paint my king cab 90 signal green but thought the bits I make would blend so just doing the roof now.
All the add ons I make will be green though.
Cage, Bumpers etc.. 8)

my uncles has a signal green mk2 escort mexico, i used to have a signal red mk2 esc 1600 sport buts its more of a salmon orangey pink colour
