Hi folks
Anyone offroad their P38 ?
What bits are available (steering/diff guards etc)
Any pics of modded motors ?
Thinking of changing my Defender for one...

One of the Landy mag's had a pic of a bobtailed P38 at a club event some months back. Can't remember which one or what kit it had.
Still... gives you a bit of confidence.... :D

Hi mate, Qt services do diff protection and stuff for the P38, ive seen two being off roaded, one from ireland which is modified, and another local one. the local guy has just put two diff guards on and runs some BFG muds on P38 steel wheels... he also removes the front valance, but its a perfectly capeable vehicle... i ll try and find you some pix

You may not be able to read all comments but see here (http://www.viermalvier.de/forum_php/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=landrover&Number=363695&Searchpage=1&Main=363695&Words=+ariane44&topic=&Search=true#Post363695). Most of them unfortunately from inside.

Great stuff, cheers for posting! The bib spoiler comes off the front bumper by the way
Love P38's, they're very capable even on the standard road biased tyres. Havent had the chance to do much off-roading in mine yet but i tried a few toughish trails on holiday a few weeks back. Its almost surreal the way it just effortlessly cruises over anything in its path

The EAS on my classic LSE is pretty amazing, especially now I've got some trick airsprings and I believe it's even more advanced on the P38 (though I've heard opinions both ways on their abiliies compared to the classic). It's a shame I'm not going to off-road it in a way but it cost me too much for that.
