-

my old disco had 245,000 on it (1995 M plate)
(regarding works vehicles we had a merc pick up that had done 750,000 miles)
-
I have an admission to make i am not on the original engine the 2.5td did my head in it chuffed worse than thomas the tank engine the axles are original and the chassis most of the bodywork the halfshafts etc are original etc...oh
-
130 000 in 17 years and not a sign of death from the trusty old 19J. Although if yours is a TD then why ain't you dead with shrapnel when the engine blows?
-
Well i spent around a grand rebuilding the blooming thing then about 50,000 miles later i got sick of using almost as much oil as diesel the breather was filling the chassis (got sick of it changing the air filter into an oil filter :x ) so i bit the bullet and went to 300tdi and it's been brilliant since :D :D doesn't use oil water just diesel :D
-
I had well over 300,000 miles on my Toyota Landcruiser 4.0L
-
72,000 miles displayed on the odometer of the 2A. Possibly been around the clock once already but there's no easy way to tell. Transmission wear doesn't show it has, neither does the wear on the gear stick or steering wheel.
-
143K just now,but it is its 3rd speedo
-
:D mine is still on its first speedo
-
I get the feeling with 14,500 I'm not gonna win this one - do I get a save the environment consellation prize?
-
:D we could always go for lowest mileage on oldest vehicle :D

Alternately I could just be waffling rubbish again cause I'm not gonna win this one
-
:D AHH but my bum was on the seat for 170,000 odd miles and that is original!!! :D

1974 series 3
33,000
but discovered it broke, so anyones guess

Plus you rebuilt it as a completely different vehicle, so it doesn't count. :P
-
Thank Zarquon I do not do the 60,000 a year I used to do.....although Bagheera is pushing 14000km at the moment!?!
/me thinks of the fuel he's already put in it......
-
14000km
Yuck!
Eurobabble
-
Ah....but ze car has noted where it is - and all readings are in KM etc.....
Most confusing - I did wonder why my mileage had almost doubled when we trundled off the ferry ;-)
-
It's too clever by half
As long as the sat-nav doesn't change voice aswell
-
The engine in my G had done about 480000 miles and then comitted suicide.
My Citroen Xantia (sorry  ) has sofar done over 300000 miles with the original clutch still in it! and NO breakdowns yet...
In fact i commented to someone today how well she ran, BIG mistake! she promptly went in limp home mode limiting the revs to 2300
Luckily she soon recovered and seems ok again
-
15Yr old Paj = 43,000, probably got 200,000 left in it! pleeeeeeeeeeze
-
my 90 has about 104,000 on it - nothing really I spose

I think Datalas's motor has some big miles on it
-
We once bought a Volvo 740 estate that already had 235,000miles (& added another 30,000)
My 90V8-CSW had 32,000miles (verified) when I bought it at 13years old
The 110 is a 1999 registration, & has just passed 54,000miles
The 'spare-car' (Fabia) is a '03' & has just gone over 15,000
-

170998 :)
-
1976 101, was about 18K when I bought it, now showing 34K, and that's kilometres. So was about 13,000 miles in 30 years. Not bad!
-
My Disco has done 170000 Miles, but not with me. I am now the thirteenth owner (lucky me! )
I am taking it to Spain this weekend (1300 miles), bit nervous (longest journey I will have done).
It towed the Defender in my Avatar to Germany and still did 30 to the gallon.
Speaking of which, the Defender has so far done 0 miles, but I can't wait!
:D

Smokes a bit on start up but sounds sweet and goes well. Gerbox is a bit noisy but changes sweet.
I have all the MOTs and full history so not worried about mileage.
I buy based on whole vehicle never mileage or reg. :?
-
:) Got nothing against thomas the tank engine but he is a steam engine and steam engine's do chuff diesel's shouldn't through the breather!! :?
-
36k on the clock when i got er givven it by me dad now i have found the other 2 clocks one with 140k and the other with 170k i guess landrover should make better clocks :D
-
:D we could always go for lowest mileage on oldest vehicle :D
Does 15,000 on a 1978 chassis get that (only 5 digit odometer).
I think it's the third time it's been there, though. Oh, and the third engine that I know about.

180,000 on Roo ...
Dad's 300Tdi is on 340,000 with the original gearbox, engine and clutch.. does that count for anything ?
-
180,000 plus on my old cavalier, original engine, 'box, CLUTCH etc. Had new dampers just before it went off the road but the only major thing it's had was a head gasket.
