Title: Back on at last !
Post by: v8kenny on August 17, 2006, 22:52:32: Not had a computer for the last three weeks - it decided it wasn't playing after a thunderstorm ( please no lectures on surge protection I've learnt my lesson)
A well meaning mate had it for the first week with no joy, then it was holibags time in Yorkshire and this week got it repaired in a shop - new motherboard and Ã‚Â£58 quid later here I am back in the land of the sane !
Funny how you miss something when you cant use it ................ :roll:

Yes, had a great time thanks
Spent a couple of days at Pickering steam fair at start of holiday and the saturday before leaving at Driffield steam show - left the showground about six and was home around 12.30 am
In between we had a day at Whitby/Robin Hoods Bay, a day at strawberry fields car boot/Sewerby Hall and a few days just bumming around Scarborough etc
Weather was fine which helps, so all in all an enjoyable little break
Kept my eyes peeled for BTM at Driffield although he wasn't sure if he would make it
