Title: Flicking near side side light

Right, here is an electric problem that is driving me mad  :x  :x

Turn the side lights on, the near side flickers fast and it sounds like a relay under the dash is going mental.  

Turn the lights on full beam dip and it still flcikers.  Put the lights on full beam and the flicker stops.

The relay seems to be coming from the alarm box under the glove box.

Any ideas????

sounds like either a bad supply to the relay so it isn' getting enough power to activate or the relay itself is duff :?
