accident on M6 this evening..

it took me 3 hours from door to door, to get home

I used the M6 toll last week for the first time ever, very impressed, well worth the £3!!

they should have that kind of system up in the north west

then again they dont have room cos its heavily populated around here!

Dyf,

Definately agree with that matey, Saturday before last we got caught up in traffic north bound just on the Cumbria border, thanks to a lorry driver who fell asleep and decided to leave the motorway!!

Saw Mr Brownlee go sailing past south bound in Piglet as I was sat there too!!

thing is..

its definitely lack of concentration which causes accidents and unfortunately cars dont have tachographs (trucks do which is another point of discussion) and as such the authorities cannot verify the vehicles performance before the accident (speed, time travelled etc)

Why don't the goverment open all the old abandoned railway tracks to 4x4 drivers that will get them off the roads like Mr Livingstone want.
Be much more fun going to and from work.

I read somewhere that they were doing exactly that in the States. Ready made Adventure trails. They'd be a bit boring though due to the lack of gradient. The embankments would be more interesting.
