the underside of a Landy. And can I apply it with a brush, it says to use a spray gun.
Will 5L be enough waxoyl for one Disco vehicle?

Hi,
I don;t see why you couldn't use a brush, but I reckon it'd be harder.. It took me 10 litres to do the underside of mine and the inside of the sills, and chassis etc. Only 2.5 Litres for inside the sills etc the rest was the underside.
I'd go for the spray personally, but it does get EVERYWHERE!!! Also, heat the waxoil up beofre you use it, it makes it much easier to handle and is vital if you are spraying it.

The cleaner you can get it prior to waxoyling the better. I went to a local truck garage and used their steam cleaner for £10.

If you can get the waxoyl preasure spayer kit it makes life a lot easier.
Get off as much of the crud as possible leave overnight to dry then spray next day.
make sure you in overalls and use goggles as waxoyl is a real pain if it gets in your eyes.
You need to heat the stuff as well before application - I used an old galvinised bucket of water on the gas cooker and and warm it that way and goes on a treat.
If the chasis hasnt been done before or you dont know when it was last done I would use 5L and make sure you get on two good coats

How did you guys go about getting a good even coat inside the chassis rails etc. or was it just poke nozzle in hole and hope to cover it all?
