Title: £2000 and a P reg vectra 98000 miles?

I've 2 grand and a vectra P reg.  What decent 4x4 can I afford(if any  :? ) ? Bear in mind I'm a pauper (cheap parts and all that) Help a poor family man, one daughter offf to Uni, t'other 15, expensive as they are (is there a grovel emoticon? )

P reg vecta is about 500 - 900 so in theory you could buy the M plate 300 tdi ES discovery n the 'for sale section' £2800
