Post by: Terry.J on September 06, 2006, 23:16:06

I know a couple of people who have external roll cages from North click here  (http://www.northoffroad.co.uk/products.asp) and they have safari snorkels on. The snorkel has to be moved slightly forward so its not rubbing the cage but it is do-able.......here are a couple of pics to show you it on either side   Am sure the owners of the vehicles wont mind me showing you :D

Also if you look on their site the 110 double cab they show as an example is the vehicle above before he got his snorkel

Thanks for the info. there's me thinking i'd have to modify the rollcage  Me thinks your option could make life easier. Just hope it does'nt have to move too far forward as the snorkel is already fitted  and would'nt want the original holes I've drilled showing.

Nope doesnt have to move too much at all really......... you may have to raise it aswell as move it forward (wheel arches) but should still cover original holes as far as I remember

have heard you can get a wing that will take the snorkle further forward etc.

also i believe south down snorkles fit with external cages

Could always buy a blank wing (with no cutout in it) ... would need painting, but then you could put the snorkel wherever you wanted.
