What inexpensive tool can I use to spray on waxoyl. I do not want to buy an electric air compressor.
Can I use a something like this?

You probably could but your as well to spend some cash and get the proper waxoyl preasure sprayer kit
I think its about £30(possibly less) from halfrauds

The standard waxoyle "Trigger" spray gun from Halfrauds that fits the large refill cans works fine :D .
Did Trug with it a month ago....... no need to buy a powered sprayer at all

Job done! Little messy but good coverage, I used a weed killer sprayer from B&Q. Worked perfectly and only cost £14.99.
Does waxoyl dry or does it always stay slippery? When I get the Disco muddy, can I still pressure wash it or will it take off the waxoyl?

Mine gets jet washed and have had no-loss of waxoyle at all :D .
It'll go semi-dry.... in other words if you rub your finger along it your finger will go brown

it will dry out almost totaly eventualy - bit like shoe polish if you leave the lid off but never goes compleatly dry
