Title: Cant believe it
Post by: Edge on September 09, 2006, 18:13:27
Got my 90 advertised on x4 landy websites....... & ive No Offers  . Not even a ridiculous offer like £4.5k.

Does anyone know the best place to advertise it :?:

Would rather it went to a fellow enthusiast, rather than some jerk who'll ruin it.

£100 inc delivery.

No seriously though dont sell.
I know youve said you debaited it and due to personal reasons but after all the work you put in and time and cash spent you now have a cracking motor.
Even if you just lie it up for a while e.g. SORN it and cool off I think you'll see that selling isnt really the best option as unles you get someone who wants a highly modified motor

aw Trug is there no way you could just pick up a cheap run around for a while? Seems such a shame that you have to sell up,and going by personal experience in the not too distant future you will regret it.

I hope everything works out for you.

Just want to say thats an awesome looking 90... not sure i could bring myself to sell it!

Dont get dishearted by lack of offers, its just that most people on land rover websites already have land rovers! All you need is few people who really want it to start a bidding war. If not have a look at selling all the parts you added separately, you'll get a decent amount that way

Good luck, if i had some spare cash/space...

Another vote here for not selling it. SORN it and park it up for now and see how things go over the next few months. Circumstances might change and you can rediscover it.
If you need a proper motor, go and spend a few hundred quid on something cheap and reliable with a long MOT and use that for the commuting.

On ebay ive got 27 people watching (lurking) my auction  , little do they know.. so far been offered a 2002 B*W 525i se, a 2000 TD5 Disco, 2001 Jag XJR 8)  8) , so it may go before auction ends.

True but at least you can maintain a 200/300tdi at home with out having to hook it onto a diagnostic everytime a warning light comes on
