i have took everything off, half shaft etc but cant get hub off its moviig in an out a bit, but cant seem to pull it off am i missing something

If you've taken the hub nuts and brake caliper off the hub should come away. Sometimes they can stick a bit so a little more banging it backwards and forwards should help, if not the bearing may have welded on the axle

Wasnt' there a post on here about some kind of halfshaft slide pulling hammer device someone had made?
-
sounds a bit like the inner race is stuck, give a damn hard yank on the hub as you will have to pull the oil seak out of the hub, leaving the inner race of the inner bearing still on the stub axle. Smash it off with a hammer and cold chisel (for crying out loud wear gogles).

...or angle grind it off
wow what a tool - is there anything they can't do?

Yeah, replace the metal you cut out by mistake.

Where there is a will there is an angle grinder OR welder, Or if it has a very strong will a large press

If you are using a grinder don't try to cut right through, grind a flat on one side. Sometimes the heat wil loosen the race, if not it will split easily with perhaps a swift tap from LR special tool No. 1.
