Octobers LRO has a 'how to' on seat repairs this month - they also recommend Exmoor for bits.

i used a pound shop ratchet strap webbing on mine worked well but does make the seat firmer

took the seat out and remover the cover and foam and wrapped the webbing around the frame and cable tied it to stop it slipping and then refitted the foam and cover

There used to be a place on Coventry Road in Hinkley that could rebuild car seats and did a really good job.
I can't rememebr buch but maybe somebody who still lives in that area can help?

Mine broke this weekend too...

Used the ratchet strap method and worked a treat!  Total cost of repair was £13.00 because I had to buy the strap and a Torxx 50 socket bit.

Seat's better than it was before!
