Title: Memory Cards?.
Post by: marjan on September 16, 2006, 13:19:56
Not really a Mud Club type question but I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the X-ray machines at airports are likely to damage or erase the memory card in my Sat Nav when it is scanned. Hope not as all my routes for the holiday are on one card in the unit.

Cheers,

Mark.

Cheers Guys, Thanks for that. Was just a bit worried as I have spent weeks putting all the route info into the unit and I would be screwed if it got erased as we are doing about 3000 miles in New England.

Do you have a spare card ?

You could copy the card and then you will be covered, and have piece of mind.

I keep a copy of the card on my Laptop
