SWMBO has a small business and the website hosting is coming up for renewal.
Bearing in mind that the website is generally just an information site ( no online store or anything) can any of you lot recommend or have experience of any hosting packages?
The website was set up 2 years ago for a set fee including 2 years hosting.
She's not entirely happy with who she's with & is currently trying to build her own site.
Any help would be appreciated.

Depending on what you want try Zen good price and have different packages for you to chose from.

Depending on what the site uses, and your requirements, most ISP's give you some free web space with your account.
Setup the domain name to point to this, and presto. If you don't have full control of the domain name, register with someone like 123 Reg (http://www.123-reg.co.uk/) and get it transferred. You can do pretty much what you like with it then (including masking out the fact it's hosted with your ISP).
Hope that helps.

I do web hosting (and website development) :) See the link below.
PM me if you want to discuss.

It sounds like you only want very basic hosting. I would expect to pay £40 a year tops for enough space for a basic site. I expect the renewal quote from the original supplier is a little bit more than that? :D
Gords, you need to check your home page with firefox, half the text is overlapped by the verticle picture up the left hand side!
Cheers,

OK, thanks! What version / operating system are you using?

Win XP with firefox 1.5.0.7
I can send you a screen shot if it helps at all?
Cheers,

My site is with Virtual Names (http://www.virtualnames.co.uk/) who do hosting and domain name registration. On the hosting side they have Frontpage Extentions included, if you're using Frontpage as you design program.
