Title: Me exhaust dropped off....
Post by: MTyrrell on September 18, 2006, 19:45:31
The exhaust fell off at the down pipe this morning on the way in to work, must admit a 200TDi with no exhaust sounds great! especially through some of the narrow streets with the windows down.

Problem is i dam near suffocated myself on the way home sitting in traffic... got a banging headache now

It was only off for a day, can't afford to loose too many brain cells through inhaling diesel fumes . Did notice the clutch wasn't quite right towards the end of my journey home so that's probably why never thought about it heating the pipework up.

New bit welded in, sounds like any other 15 year old diesel now
