Title: Burton on trent rumbles.........

once at 10 oclock and again at 10:50 and i think 1 more is yet to come  :shock:  :shock:

a loud explosion echo's about 10 miles plus as the draklow (spelling) power stations cooling towers get blown down  :shock:

wish someone would have warned me  :x  :x

scared the crap outa me and my cat sat in front of me  :shock:  :shock:

i swear i live about 10 mile away and it seemed like it just out side my door, god only know what it was like for folks sat in their houses in burton  :shock:

First 3 came down approx 10.10 watched those out of our bedroom window but gave up at 10.45 waiting for the other 3 towers to come down thinking they had hit another problem, then 5 mins later boom, the house shook and me swearing at them, (EDIT), i missed them  :evil:

Bit of a damp squib where we were. The first 3 came down in darkness and then it all went quiet. The jungle drums say a problem involving a water main but BBC derbyshire says rabbits had chewed a cable :D

A few dirty cars at work this morning but most say they slept through it or didn't hear a thing.

i went to watch them with me dad (sooty) and me little brother (sweep)  but only managed to see the first ones go down as me dad got bored waiting for the others so went back to the car.
