Title: Tow bar electrics (S socket)
Post by: nishikigoi on September 28, 2006, 11:31:34
I've got a plough fitted already and it has the 'N' for the road lights, now I want to add the 'S' socket to feed the fridge etc when towing the 'van' there are 2 more cores next to the plug used for the road lights.

Where is it best to pick a feed up from?

 :(thinkhard):

I would also be interested in fitting the second socket for the vans fridge etc.

Cheers 8)

There are some 'spare' wires there already, these are probably the supply I need, any ideas?

One is the reverse lilght you will need, the other is a 12volt supply though I doubt it's sufficient for a modern 'van as the newer fridges are thirsty things.

Fit a voltage sensitive relay kit from Towsure.
