:D Ahh had the same old girl for 9 years just fitted a set or trakkers le mans seats heated of course and they make it a little harder to get to the winders and her indoors struggles so it had to be done.Besides if you've got the know how,and you can get the bit's at cost why not!!

I'm just interested as to how easy it is really... the ability to open both windows from the drivers seat would be a nice touch.

:D It took me about half an hour to fit the 2 motors and an hour to wire them up!! mind you 2 hours to decide where i want the switches and 2 days to find the time without being interupted by customers (dam inconsiderate you would think i should have been working or something!!!)

what do you want electric window for, when you can have [!Expletive Deleted!] bendy plastic winders, broken winding mechanisms and general anger?!

:D Belive me when your (mate) guff's it's nice to open both windows without trying to get them to open it for you!!! plus why is it when someone comes to say somthing to you they always come to the passenger side.. it's alot easier to open the passenger side now.Plus total closure on the alarm is next!!!!

you have to wind ours with 2 hands sometimes :D drivers side in particular is completely knackered... needs a new mechanism.

those plastic winders are useless though, its like trying to operate a hilift using a bog roll tube for the handle :)

:D I can reccomend taking the door panel of and greasing the mechanism Plus chalk dust in the window channel helps!! :D

sliding windows .... the original and the best  :D

Open almost instantly, nothing to go wrong and you can drive through bushes with them open and not get slapped in the face.

Downside is you cant climb out of them if you need to (well not when you have my ample girth)

i'll give it a go on the one that actually works. the other one has actually broken... landy decides if and when you can use the window... sometimes gives you no choice lol

Fitted a set from falcon4x4 about 18 months ago. Best thing i bought so far until two weeks ago when the drivers motor gave up whilst out laning in derbyshire. Got in touch with falcon and they told me to send it back with £32 for a new motor and they would post out a new one. Only got round to taking it out tonight !!! :D

Not sure on prices but they do a kit for all four doors with individual switches and i think a four panel switch for the front and they can be linked to your alarm remote as well to close when activated. Have a look at www.falcon4x4.co.uk  . Have found them to be really helpful  :D  :D
