:D My cousin used to work for pirelli doing the tyre fitting for superbikes nice job got to see lot's of tracks etc..

You driving a STGO or something? I assume a trailer that size will weigh a bit, and unless they were being pulled by 500bhp+ or you've got a heavy load on they wouldn't be passing much :)
-
:D I noticed it's a renault magnum pulling it i presume its got the Mack V8 in it which means it should be around the 500 BHP :)
-
How in the name of Truckfest did you pick that one up?
Ok I see, so they are being pulled by pretty meaty units then. Fair enough.
-
:D I know I know i ought to get out more!! :?

Got to admit I can identify DAFodils at pretty any angle as my dad has one, and the Magnums are pretty unique in being so tall, but good eyes my friend.

:D I drive more truck's in my job in a day than most people drive in a year so you do get a bit sad at identifying them when i go down the road i even recognise Reg no.s very sad indeed, oh and every time i go on holiday i end up seeing one i worked on even in southern ireland!!!! and really ought to pratice what i preach (see futher down the forum!!)

Looking at the cab on them I bet they have 450+ anyway, what were you in Jakey boy?
-
I was driving a MAN unit with a 3 axle trailer.
Looks a bit like this...
(We call it the old git)
-
I drive a tga cab man and that one is the tga xxl with a 480bhp engine and it pulls like a trian i have only got a 440 in mine that that flys oh and they pull at 44ton (fourmula 1 cars and parts are very light plus there normally have about 6 trucks and trailers plus some ridged trucks as well so wight is not a problem) :wink:Oh and to add its only a single axle so its 41 ton gross on uk roads

Honda use agency drivers now as they were getting in trouble with working hours, ie the driver was not allowed to work a whole weekend as pit crew then drive the truck, what they do now is drive truck to race ,fly home then fly out pick up the truck and either move to next circuit or drive it back
