rite then handbrake sticks for about a second after setting off after it has been applied and i can also feel it biting when i slow down any ideas how to free it off or what to do?

I suspect it is just muck in the mechanism or in the drum itself. Strip and clean it and all will be well...... until the next time!

Agreed, just sounds like it needs to be serviced which isn't a difficult job to do.

Really does sound like it needs the drum coming off and all the muck n stuff cleaning out.
Or alternatively, fit a X-brake arrangement from X-Eng.

I would agree the drum does my head in you think you've got it sussed then 6 months later it starts catching again!! :twisted:

Yes - I'll agree with that. It hates being dunked in mud n water n mud and god knows what else -about twice a year usually does it !
