Title: snorkel ideas
Post by: jaws on September 29, 2006, 22:13:53: any body know if a snorkel from a 200tdi/300tdi will fit a 2.5n/a c reg?

Post by: jaws on September 29, 2006, 22:21:12: hmm,was thinkin of bringing it out the o/s wing vent,just because it's not doing owt.the n/s is a breater for the heater box!i'm sure i've seen it done without cutting into the wing.maybe wrong tho!

Post by: Tiki Al on October 01, 2006, 20:38:59: Just fitted a universal snorkle from rebel to my 84 2 1/4 petrol, had to drill the top of the wing on the passenger side and it was a sod connecting the flexi hose due to the heater box being in the way but not impossible. As mine's a soft top the passenger now has a loud carb sucking noise coming from the windscreen post :lol:
