Title: oily propshaft
Post by: treegeek1978 on October 02, 2006, 18:25:23
hi all, i've just had the clutch replaced in my vitara. the mechanic told me that the uj's on the propshafts were worn and will need replacing. i had a look when i got home and there's oil coming out of what i assume is the transfer box. (i dont really know?!?) where the uj comes out toward the back. could this be what causes the vibrations between 60 and 80mph? is this gonna be serious? how much will it cost? any help greatly appreciated.
