mine was broken arm riding down a steep hill on a tonka lorry it stopped and i didn't :lol: :lol:

SHattered right kneecap at 16 and earned a LOT of time on crutches/in wheelchair/pinned together.

Broken collarbone , when the front wheel of my Raleigh chopper decided to leave the front forks when pulling a wheelie.......

:D I could answer this for my bruvver he has visited most of the hospital's in the east midlands the worst for me was when i took him into town i sat in the land rover waiting for him when this couple came over,and said he had been involved in an accident and the ambulance was on it's way it took an age to sink in then i thought oh s**t .It appears he went out between to cars and got ran over by another he smashed the windowscreen rolled of said sorry and collapsed on the other side of the road He was alright just broke his leg (didn't find out at the time though he just moaned his leg ached) :roll: Bruvver's what would you do wiv em??

fell off my fizzy 50 stood still, handle bar stuck in to my hand and broke four bones aged 16. :cry: :cry:

stuck a garden fork through my foot and out the other side.

I broke my arm falling from a failed rope slide between 2 trees.
I ripped off my big toe nail when i was 11 chasing our dog down the road (its all right now)
My legs are covered in scars from BMXing.
Broke both my wrists and an ankle skateboarding (not at the same time)
No pain, no gain

I drank 1/2ltr of bleach when i was 4. Spent 4 weeks in inensive care. Not very nice.
Also, borrowed my mates raleigh burner. Went flying down a hill, put the brakes on and the cable snapped. Straight into a gate, whacked my "Mummy's and Daddy's" really hard. OUCHH :cry:

nearly killed my sister.
pushed her into a gate post and ruptured her kidney.

Had my finger nail ripped off by my then girlfriend's dog (aged 14),
Fell through a factory roof & tore most of the skin off the under side of both arms & the side's of my rib's (that really hurt for ages),
Broke both wrist's on tree swing's (3 month's apart),
Broke two toe's on motor bike trying to ride away form my mates mum who said it was my turn to do the washing-up :roll:
just rembered, knelt on a sewing needle (aged 13) that was in the carpet it snaped when it hit the knee cap & left half of it floating around my knee had to have an operation useing some sort of xray machine theat had never been done before (human ginu ee pig)as the needle kept moving :shock:

my uncle at about age 13 sledding down a snow covered hill on a plastic sack didnt notice till he got to the bottom he had gone over a nail sticking out of a piece of wood which opened his leg up from the back of his knee to his backside :shock: my dad said the red trail he left down the hill was amazing

suddenly left my push bike at about 25mph at the age of 11
5 stiches in head / damaged knee that went 'bad' - all green n yucky !!
Still got the scars now!
But he luckies escape I had - about 8 yo - fell out of the top of my dad's barn onto the floor - landed on my feet, then very quickly afterwards my ass. Knees came up n spread my nose all over my face !
Other than nose-bleed, I lived to tell the tale - fall must have been 20 or 30 ft - very lucky

i have to say, im almost crying with laughter at some of the ways that the posts are typed in this :lol: no doubt i'll stop when i remember something stupid that i did! :D :oops:

About 17 - 18 years ago I went to fell a hardwood for my father. It was on a hump about 8 feet higher than the rest of the field.
I did all the required cuts with the chainsaw and had a felling bar with me.
I placed the felling bar in the backcut and lifted it to push the tree over. I placed my other hand on the trunk of the tree. As the tree was going over a little branch went into the glove where you put your hand in and twisted it.
The tree was going over and I couldn't free the glove. The further the tree was going the more it twisted the glove, and the tighter it got.
All of a sudden the tree just yanked me off my feet and took me with it as it fell gracefully in an arc off it's vantage point. The tree hit the ground and then the branches forced the trunk up into the air as I was coming down. It hit me on my chin and swept me into the air. At this point my wrist was still trapped to the branch, so I was thrown through the air in a semicircle. My body being swung like this untwisted the glove and off I went with the wind howling in my ears and I landed on my feet about 25 ft away facing where I had just come from.
It broke my jaw and the wrist.

last yeah when i was 17 i fell out my bike knocking myself out while riding my BMX over a 7ft high jump with a 13ft gap brakes failing and going off the edge of the ramp bike flys out from underneath me and as i flip in the air and land on my head and neck knocking my self out cold for 10 mins (as my mates said)
but i got back up brushed my self off and doing it again but not falling off this time :D

Those things are bludy lethal, I only rode 2 and fell off both, firstone a scraped my face down the road and was off school for weeks.

only thing i can think of was when i managed to catapult off my bike, slam into a piller on a wall... the square ones that people have at the front of their house? KNOCKED IT DOWN with my back... about 4 bricks thick bearing in mind.... and then the bike went over my foot!
hurt a fair bit that did... didnt move for a good 20 mins.....

Broke one of my front teeth when about 12. Was at the local youth club running round like idiots playing murderball or summat, someone turned off lights, my mouth accidently met mate head, I broke tooth which was removed later that night in emergency dental surgery but the remaining bit gave me loads of agro about 7 years later when it dies and I had to have day surgery to remove it all.
Worst thing about it all was the injections I had to have when the tooth was removed and when the remains were removed as I am absolutly [PooPoo] scared of injections. To this day, if I need a filling replacing or something, I will not have the injection, I'd rather endure 5mins of agony than have the jab.

another one i did was crush my fingers collided with a tree when riding a home made gocart down a steep hill
m8 of mine hit the same tree head on and slid the lenth of his go cart and tore his backside on the bolt sticking up that held the front wheels on and then hit the tree with a leg either side of it very funny to watch but very painful for him :oops:

I must have been a sensible child :)
Ripped half my forehead off as a 4yo following the dog under a barbed wire fence, still have the scar now.
Rode into a 1 foot sq gatepost and hit it headfirst. knocked myself unconscious and had a full chickens egg sized "Bump"
Playing with petrol in a plastic milk container and fire when someone kicked it at me when they panic'd. had a 5" round burn on my leg. took me 2 days to tell my parents and about 4 or more weeks to get the infection out and clean it up!
More broken toes and fingers from various martial arts training than I can remember.
Nail through the foot in bottom and out through the top walking across a workmans rubbish pile.
Cricket stump thrown at me and embedded itself in my leg, then broke my cousins nose swinging the pole back to hit the little oik that threw the stump at me (Also broke his nose a second time throwing sweetcorn out of a tree (The whole corn, not just the yellow bits) )
See, really mild...

in the space of one year when i was 14 i knackered my hip after falling while been chased by local drunks two months later fell out of a tree that was funny not then later in the year got took out out by a old vw while cycling home went through the windscreen ambulance job with lights and sirens, suspected two brokern legs turned out not just well mangled and cut could,nt wait for that year to end :shock: :shock:

most painful things I ever did was chasing my brother aroundthe house I slipped on the tiled floor and caught my forehead on a glass cabinet and had 6 stitches.
Went down a hill on my bike, slipped on mud and fell off and skidded straight ito the barb wire at the bottom of the hill on my birthday.
miss judged where a bridge was on my bike and ended up going head first into the ditch of stinging nettles.
Most painful thing my dog ever did was jump through barbed wire and caught his man hood and sliced it open straight down the length of it. My dad fainted when the vet went to stitch it up and he wasnt a small dog either.

stood on a nail in a plank of wood, was like a ski.
hit in the mouth with a golf club.
covered in hot tar when we decided to play with a tar machine, ever sat in a bath and been scrubbed with a bristle brush and petrol before.
fell off a go cart into head high stinging nettles.

Came of my bike racing through the woods (hit a tree head on at high speed) resulting in a broken nose, most of the skin being taken off my chin, loads of facial bruising, and one hell of a bloodshot eye which took about a month to clear.
Broke both wrists within 6 months. The second one 2 weeks after the first was out of plaster. Both doing stupid things I really shouldn't have been doing in the first place. :oops:
Trod on a cotton reel, which had a needle in it. Told my parents my foot was hurting, they thought I was trying to wag a day of school, and I continued to limp around for 2 weeks before anyone believed me, and actually x-rayed it. :roll:
Broke my left arm rock climbing and pushed the radius bone (I think) out just below my elbow resulting in a life long scar. As the friend I was climbing with puked up, I ended up making my own splint and getting us both back to safety. :?
Broke my jaw, and dislocated 2 vertebrae doing Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) when I was younger (late teens). I still train, but I'm older, wiser, and slower now. :lol:
More recently (I know it's childhood stuff!) I had my right knee dislocated and tore the medial collateral ligament doing Muay Thai again, resulting in 8-10 weeks physio, of which the first 2 were spent on crutches. :cry: That was 5 weeks ago, and I'm training again. :twisted:
No wonder I ache when it rains.

Had the sharp end of a pencil poked in my eye by a (ex)freind. Couldn't open my eye for a couple of weeks but luckerly missed being blinded by a few mm
Got a carrier bag containing my star wars figures trapped in the front wheel of my bike. Went for a big tumble and the handle bars stuck into my groin :shock: made it hard to wear pants and had a walk like john wayne for a while. :lol:
hit myself on the head with an axe, more blood than pain tho
my brother took the dare to go down the steepest hill in our Devon village on a gokart, lost control and shaved of a large portion of skin on the wheel
My godparents son (not sure if thats a relation or not) jumped up anto catch a ball playing rounders but ended up landing on the spike which entered his body through his ummmm how do i put this errrr rear entrance. Couldn't use it for a long time (his arse not the spike!)

My god, I must have had a sheltered childhood :shock:
Only things that spring to mind are: Crawled into the coal fire in the lounge when I was 3, still have scars on my head. Spectacularly headbutted a brick wall I was looking over on my first day at secondary school (football hit me on the back of my head) split my forehead open nicely.
Oh and you know when you've just learned to do wheelies on a BMX and you try to get the front wheel up a high kerb thats a bit bigger than you imagine? Well the bike tends to stop rather quicker than you do! Still, no permanent damage, I've managed to have kids after all. Took a while before I could move though.

Me too. Managed two stitches in the back of my head at school and a few cuts and bruises.
I've still - touch wood - only ever spent one night in hospital in my live, and I'm 37 now. The scary bit about that was that they wanted to operate on bits of me I'd never heard of (anyone else know where their inferior turbinate is?)

Nope, but I never knew your tonsils could grow back, or what a "Bi Latteral Septoplasti was until I had one done... and if they ever offer you one... decline politely! a 3lb hammer to their nose is considered polite as it is a lot less painful...

They did a septoplasty at the same time. Imagine the worst cold you've ever had, and you can't blow your nose 'cos it hurts too much... For a month....

thought after first post you were my doppleganger...if you had you would have mentioned that after bieng hit with club (mine was in the eye) your mum had to go back to the pitch and put shed to get money back to pay busfares to casualty...you would have also mentioned having a dog thrown at you and nearly loosing the other eye....more injuries than time but when the reaper comes calling it time to go

Took a big chunk out of index finger in metalwork class, ouch several stiches, still have the scar!
Burned face playing with firework, first degree burns- no eyebrows and a lot of pain! Off school for three weeks, luckily no scarring or eye damage :x

just remberd tried to jump a ditch on a drop handle type push bike and missed and slid accross the metal pedal and still got the parralel scars on my side yet it didnt bleed or hurt much but still scared
also have a iron burn on my left hand from about 2 years old was told i pulled the flex (but i think it was deliberate :lol: )

Falling over in the garden when I was 12 and skewering my cheek on a stick - yup it went right the way through,
or...
Colliding head on with a brick wall at a million miles an hour when on my skateboard and fracturing my skull when I was 15. That was a blue lights to the hospital job...
Skateboards, breaking bones since 1971 :D :D :D

days when i was a kid fell off mi bike ont a bit obroken fence wiv a BIG nail stickin out ov it that ended up in my knee and me grandad pulled tat out that was when i was 7ish at 14 on my moto x bike went up a hill landed in a tree at the top had the fire begade out to get me out as my leg was stuck between the wheel and swinging arm ho got shot with a .22 air rilfe in me leg 3 days in hospital and the list could take all night lol ive got about 150 scar's had hunderds of stiches most in 1 go was 36 :lol: and still collectin un had 7 about 3mths ago lol for a big hole in my lip

when i was 9 me and my mate built a ramp around his garden to jump with our bikes: :D but the bad thing was it was facing towards his back door which was glass!!!!! :shock: he went first straight through ripping himself to bits i [!Expletive Deleted!] off before his mum killed me. :roll:
