Title: Any country and western fans ? (quiz help needed)
Post by: v8kenny on October 05, 2006, 09:32:35: Need some help peeps - been doing a bit of a fun quiz and stuck for the following answers
Been doing my head in - if anyone can help that would be great
There is no prize involved so I aint cheating !
Here we go :- the first part of the following is an anagram of a country singer, the second is the initials of a film blockbuster they were involved in - where the name is correct I have got the singer but not the film
1. cap in style............................................BCATSK
2. jim reeves................................................TOJW
3. glen campbell................................................TMWSLV
4. johnny cash.................................................TBC
5. rags throb ok..................................................PGABTK
6. mash ian kill w..................................................TMS
7. let nylon tar........................................................HTWWW
The second bit is lyrics that come from country songs - just need the title of the song
1. All my memories gather round her
2. Your beauty is beyond compare
3.I know every crack in these dirty sidewalks
4. Give me the strength to do every day
5. Does your mummy know your going down the road
6. Little things I could have said and done
Thats it - this is not the whole quiz, just the bits I am stuck at - I'm not that lazy !

Western is another one, being generally Western Swing (ie, like the band; 'Asleep At the Wheel)

I'll get my nice shiney anorak with all those pockets :lol:

The film titles seem to be giving everyone greif as well as me ! - just noticed it's actually WESTERN film blockbusters if this helps :oops:
I'm very dissapointed BTM - I was expecting a complete list of the answers from you :wink:

The western blockbusters have nothing to do with artist's anagrams next to them - I have got most of them now (BCATSK- butch cassidy and the sundance kid etc.)
Still stuck on the movies TMS and HTWWW
Also stuck on the anagram LET NYLON TAR
Any ideas ? :wink:
