Title: chrome wheels?

how do i go about painting them as the chrome has deffo seen better days?
was going to flat back - etch prime then use hammerite smooth..

I reconditioned mine by blasting them and powdercoating satin black

You've got to break the surface of the chrome and it it's peeling at all then best removed altogether.  Not that I'm a big fan of Hammerite these days, it's not what it used to be.

hmm, wel thats why i suggested the etch primer as it does bite into whatever its sprayed onto - then smoothrite - or even radiator enamel paint, something good 'n' tough.
next thing is colour
silver or white???
