I should think it was H Webster heading up to Ruthin for the Welsh Hill Rally this weekend

Anyone know if Wolfie and Eeyore are having a go this year?

Yes that was us on our way up to Ruthin.  Wolfie and Eeyore's car is without brakes at the moment pending some work for the final BORC round at Driffield in a couple of weeks time!

We had mixed success on The Hillrally.  A puncture slowed us on stage 3, before the sector shaft in the steering box failed, at about the half way point of the stage, putting us out of the main event.

We entered the Sunday Run with a new steering box and came second overall, behind a Simmbugghini!

Ran out of cash at about the same time we ran out of brakes! The MOT's this week an' all so we decided to keep the car in one piece for that and went marshalling (finish clock) instead. Didn't see much action as a result but we did get to yabber to all the teams. Good stuff with some fun stages, even at 'normal' speeds!  :D

And a very well deserved victory to Ray and Yvonne Kempster  :D  =D>

T'was good to see the Muddymoo out and about even if it was only on the Sunday. Better luck next year, H.

cheers

Well, the brakes now seem to be fine (well as fine as drum rears get) and the car passed the MOT no problem - I suppose having it virtually MOTd each event together with the regular need to replace broken bits helped.

So now I can try and wreck it again in a few days.

Nearly put in an official complaint about Mr W's driving on the Hillrally, the Cow failed to moo as it came into the time control.

Regards

Wolfie

Whooops, sorry!   For some reason I couldn't reach the moo when strapped in on this event.  Maybe my arms have shrunk!

I did get an official complaint, that we were 'grazing' on the long transit section through FireTower and holding up the rally.  Better than getting caught speeding, though! :D
