My tub is fastened to the rear x member by pop rivets?  On my 90 they are bolted is the rivet ok or will it fail the MOT?  It seems a bit mickey mouse to me..........

i would be tempted to drill them out and stick bolts in, not saying its not good enough but i wouldnt fancy it like that.
job to know really as planes are riveted together!

that would pass an MOT, not sure on exact terminolgy, but sonething about 'is it gonna drop off anytime soon' section.

Used to rivet high tops on a mk2 transit, no probs

You will be ok, they wont even give it a second look
