Morning
Ive fitted some Rocksliders to my 90 that i get from brookwells, but something doesnt seem right..
They have a bar attached, which fits into the round bar where the rear tub mounts, which is fine. On the front there is a bracket which fits onto the bolt which goes through the chassis/bulkhead. The bracket on the sliders is about an inch shy of the bulkhead, so i cant do it up tight as it gives under strain..

Any one got any ideas? All the chassis looks origional, and nothing looks bent

Sounds like another shining example of shoddy manufacturing. Most of the stuff I've bought for the Landy has been a bit like that.

I spoke to mill services about mine and they take an average of quite a few land rovers. I had about 15mm of space and he said just to tighten it up. All my doors shut better now!!!

I think you will find it's usually due to landrovers manufacturing tollerances. Aftermarket suppliers could make a part to fit perfectly on one vehicle and it will be miles away on another so they make it 'sort of fit'.

That doesnt surprise me either somehow.
