From that photo and just that tiny bit of info you gave, I think that's a very good price for it. It looks very tidy and original looking, just the way I like it. :D
-
she has already had a new rear crosmember fitted be for i got her and would love to keep her and give wife the jimny but i do 20 -30 k miles a year due to work comute and she is a bit to thirsy for that so she will have to go and i will get wife disco 200tdi
-
In my opinion, I think you should just raise the asking price a little to around £1,500 for the vehicle, unless you need a quick sale. :)

unfortunately mate unless someone is out there looking for one you may struggle to sell it. When i was selling my series 3 i tried at abowt £1000 but had no interest so i removed the mud tyres/ overdrive and parabolics and reverted back to standard. In the end i put it on Ebay and ended up only getting a few hundred quid for it.
Sorry for being the bearer of bad news & good luck with the sale

Hi Colin,
Try broadening your horizons with the sale market. I think it's a fair price, especially considering the overdrive which is worth £300 on it's own. Someone should be snapping your hand off!
I hate to say it, there are other forums for Landrovers also with for sale sections ;), should be quite easy to find them using a search engine. You'll probably need to register on each one, but hey ho, it's free!
If you get really stuck you could try autotrader, or even approaching a company that deals with Landrovers such as The Landrover Centre (http://www.landrovercentre.com/) at Huddersfield, or any other dealers you may find advertising in various Landrover magazines such as Liveridge 4x4 (http://www.liveridge4x4.com/)
Good luck!
Rob.

i only paid £590 for my 1979 series 3 about 2 weeks ago, that was with 11 months test and 6 months tax, and in very very good order. as said previously i think its just wether someone wants one or not and is willing to pay the money for it. its a shame, cos it looks lovely!

-

-
