-
YUP

-
none of us know what went off so it i think its best left. I will say that Dew popped up on another forum making a real nuisance of himself.....but then it turns out he's only 16 and has been pretending to be the great font of all knowledge...just goes to show appearances arent everything
-
yup correct. its a shame, cos i loved PUX's moo coloured truck!!
-
It appears that your not allowed an opinion or a minute picture in the background of scantly clad women as it might upset all those politically correctionist with nothing better to do in life but winge, hence pux is now no longer a member. As for the other pix, outer of 100s of members only one complained so I hope he is happy with themselves.
-
as from PLCUK.com tufftee and PUX, they accounts have expiredand they are no longer MC members!

The less said the better is how the rot sets in, it leaves folk wandering if they will be next and is usually indicative of someone trying to hide something or worse still being unable to completely qualify a decision and feeling embarassed about it.
I could say more but do not have the freedom as I am not quite sure where the boundaries are and besides, it is only a website forum at the end of the day, I have an off button as do others.
Silence is not the golden rule, it is the rotten rule.

There yer go, it worked....The silence thing, I am not sure where the boundries lie......That means that I am not willing to speak my mind, that means that those in power have silence from myself to a certain degree, that means that the powers that be have got away with something yet again, that is in my opinion corruption in the making, they feel more confident having got away with it once, it makes it easier for them the next time......Dictatorships always fall, usually making a mess.
Just my feelings you understand.

and, yes they walked... their own decisison i think.

Pux and a small number of other people no longer felt comfortable with the way the site and the forum were being run.
Some of these people asked for their accounts to be removed, others were removed by the site administrators as we felt that an untenable situation had been reached whereby the people involved were unwilling to abide by the small number of rules which exist here.
In some cases orchestrated and co-ordinated attempts were being made to goad moderators into public arguments about the way they were conducting themselves in the course of their duties here, this was a situation that we were unwilling to allow to escalate.
Any of the people involved are more than welcome to return to Mud-Club, provided they are willing to respect the guidlines we have in place.
The internet is a big place, and I truly believe there are places suitable for all tastes, attitudes and opinions. Some people will like it here... others will not.
I hope this clears up the matter.

I had been aware that something had been going on, despite a significant lack of interest on my part I was still aware. Now I did not have the facts and kept out of it, so thanks Muddyweb for setting the record straight.
Now I have to agree with Bulli's sentiment, yes I get the points about censorship but to add fuel to the fire without knowing the whole story is just that, fuel on a fire and fire is destructive.
Things I am aware of are just how much work goes into running MC and how much it costs certain individuals. We all enjoy a great deal of freedom on this site and the few rules that exist are there for good reason, not to descriminate against any minorities. No-one has been picked on here, save perhaps the goading of certain admin team members.
Now I'm going to suggest we leave this alone and get on with being a club, it's all very healthy to get things out in the open and discuss them but I don't think there is anything to be gained by raking over this time and again.
So let's draw a line under it and look foreward to the coming months, I am sure there are many club activeties to get involved in over Christmas and these should be where our efforts go, not into trying to change the past.

On Another Note
I just followed J420 PUX into Tescos :)
-
May be this is a good idea for a separate part of the site which can be used for this type of discussion. One that you can speak your mind and not have the admin or moderators having to pull rank. A part which cant be viewed buy the outside world. Its a shame when a post has to be locked due to people getting a bit to gobby can I say. Just a idea.
No hang on thinking about it thats a bad idea.....I just realized what will happen then....
I think thats best left to off roader rant page....lol
Now that site can get very funny.... Anybody use it ?

Here here. I agree 100% I think the admin team do a fantastic job and it must cost them a fair bit a year to keep the site running as smoothly as it does. The admin team could quiet easily make us pay a fee to be in the club but to thier generosity they haven't. I used to run a forum and it is extremely hard work.
At the end of the day it is the admin and mods necks on the line if there is anything posted that could landed them in trouble.
Thank you so much to all the admin team for what they do.
Here is that underline you were on about RRB

Getting in touch with people is never the problem, It's not the person that is missed in a forum, but their input - whatever it may be.
Having run forums myself in the past I know how difficult it is for the admin and mods to try and do the right thing for the forum and constantly thinking "Am I doing this for the forum or myself"
Keep up the good work peoples lets keep the fight going with the antis not with ourselves

thanks for the replies everyone, i think thats answered my question.
