are lt77 gearbox out a discovery v8 the same as an lt77 box out of a disco 200tdi
-
I don't think they are. I am sure that there are different lengths of the input shaft for the LT77S depending on what engine it was mated to originally.
-
efinately not the same. Im very sorry but i dont know the difference but i know its not a straight swap over , as me mates in the process of finding/replacing his at the moment
-
WHY YOU ASK MATTY YOU GOT ONE....?
-
i got an lt77 box up for sale but the person that may be intrested has a v8
-
LT77 for a 4cyl (inc tdi) has a much shorter input shaft and bell housing than the v8 version. So i'm afraid without an adaptor kit a 4-cyl box cannot be fitted to an 8 cyl vehicle.. Sorry to dash the holiday fund plan. ;)
