We have these bearmach side steps on and one side half of the ruber trim from the side has came of during greenlaning. We havent got the bit of trim because we only relised when we got back. :-k Any ideas what/how to make it more presentable to match the other side, for the time being as after christmas we are getting some rock sliders. :D
 Thanks, Steven
p.s. look on profile pics and the top folder is the pic of the side step.

just take them both off. :D

Take the rest of the trim off the side and give it a wop over with a bit of black hammerite?
-
yer, we well prob do that

To be honest side steps are only going to get in the way. They're fine if you live in Chelsea but no good for off roading/green laning.

Take them off, they will only get in the way & keep getting damaged when greenlaning, replace them with rock/tree sliders

just be careful as they can easily get folded over....i would simply underseal them. If you are putting sliders on then underseal will protect way better than hammerite.

I bought a pair for the LSE, to protect the bodywork from careless t*ts in car parks but I think they might look a bit tastelss so I've left them for now. Might get a simple nerf bar made instead.

dump 'em and get some rock sliders. If you get the right set they provide a sort of step up, it doesn't matter if you crunch them, plus you can use them as a jacking point.
