If there are definitely no rear seats and no seat belts then they can't be tested and won't be part of the test. If you're trying a quick one you won't be popular and a fail somewhere else may result

Headlights are tested for aim not height most testers will correct the aim if it is out but bear in mind what I've written above

Tis a good question, because the Vits seats may be comming out for the same reason, although it'll be permanent and a tray going in their place.

Because all my trucks are for work none of them have had back seats

this should answer your question for the lights....................

- Dipped beam headlamps max height 1200mm
- Front position lamps max height 1500mm (or 2100mm if no lower bodywork available)
- Rear position lamps, max height 1500mm (or 2100mm if no lower bodywork available)
- Stop lamps, max height 1500mm (or 2100mm if no lower bodywork available)
- Direction indicators, max height 1500mm (or 2300mm if no lower bodywork available)
- Fog lamp, max height 1000mm
- High level brake lamp is optional, no height limit

and as for the seatbelt if they are fitted then they must work if removed then the are not part of the test.

Rather like the ARB question, I asked my MOT (mate) man and the book says if not there, it can't be tested.

No it wont fail on rear seats/belts missing.
It will be entered on the computer as a 1 seat'er [driver's seat not included in "Number of seats"]. So the only prob you would have is if you ever put rear seats back in, the current mot would be invalid.

Headlights as said is all down to aim, not height, and will be checked using a beam-setter. most will put it right for you if it is wrong [and make a small charge]
