One friend has just bought a P plate 300tdi disco for £500 !! an MOT failure but guess what it failed on ? Anti roll bar not fitted to rear  that was it nothing else just that !!
then one of the guys at work has bought a 110 van with a 200tdi engine on an H i believe for £750
where do these bargains come from?

Don't ask me, I keep missing them too. Being in the right place I think.

i've just pick up a series 2a engine and gearbox for 99 pence of e-blag now there's a bargain :D
-
Tax exempt series 2a for £350 from ASDA (the ad section, not dairy!). Chassis solid, engine great, bodywork original. Needs about £100 for the MOT, I reckon.
I'm getting the impression that too many people are looking at Ebay and a lot of the bargains are still small ad's in the local newsagents, etc. After all, there are still millions who can't use a computer, let alone post something on ebay

Spacemud is right I have had a few bargains from the small ads, Ebay makes the price go through the roof

Just be careful, Its not a ringer... £500 seems wrong to me. I would be very suspicious MOT failure or not.
