I'am instaling a NAS light kit and the rear lights have gone on not a problem, but the plinths for the lights on the front won't fit because of the ridge on the edge of the headlight surround.
Can anyone help? :?:

You have to re-drill the mounting holes to bring the plinth inside the edge of the surround, there are a few people who have carefully trimmed the plinth so it fits over the surround but I was happy to drill the bodywork.
Have you re-drilled the real holes as well? You have to unless you don't mind the stop/tail lights overlapping the edge of the bodywork (that looks a bit naff in my opinion). How many lights have you got on the rear, I find the 8-light set-up is more effective and just looks better than the 6-light set-up?

Fine-toothed hacksaw, and a steady hand..........tis the only way !

That's what i was gonna do. I just thought i would ask someone before i started cuting holes in my landie. I have only put the reverse and fog light in at the moment (looks better already) just another 6 to go. Thanks for your help.

BDH,
Take a look at this post that BTM started - there are some good pics, and links to pics within it.

You beat me to it, I was going to suggest that thread
I don't know if this link (http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=5554) is incorporated in it??
'BDH'
Whereabouts are you?
There may be once of us close-by with a NAS set-up that you can examine/see what needs doing.
If you're near me by any chance, you're more than welcome to have a look...
