Now I am always up for an adventure but this is just plain stupid! These people actually take standard motorhomes on overland expeditions, that is just asking for trouble.

At least one of them owns a unimog, but just look at these pics, what a stupid vehicle to take on such a trip. I bet this caravan was falling apart by the time they got home!

Good on them. I saw a whole fleet of French motorhomes in Mauritania, on the way back from Senegal. If you don't mind getting the fibre glass scratched, and maybe rattling the thing to pieces, then great.

I was doing my voluntary work 2 years ago and the car park got muddy and a hymer got stuck. We all tried pushing forward but his wheels were spinning backwards. We told him to put it in a forward gear and he said he was and Hymers spin the wheels the opposite way to the gears when stuck in mud. Hmm I think someone felt like a fool and made up rubbish. I cant believe it for 1 second.
It looks comfyer than tents neway!!
