Title: Alarm question
Post by: solihull-mick on November 19, 2006, 21:26:39: Ive got an early 300 disco, but no alarm fob, found a guy that can supply and program, but which fob should i have?

The alarm light is under the radio, and it does have sensors in the roof, so im i after a single button or twin button?

I have had to bypass the immobiliser as it still in the armed setting, also had to rewire the alarm to stop the hazzards flashing in traffic, very imbaressing!!!!
Any ideas guys would be a help :lol:

Post by: ChrisW on November 19, 2006, 21:35:04: Single button, did look at getting one for mine but it's got an aftermarket system interfaced to the central locking so never did anything about it.

If it's any use (and just to discount it) I've got a spare Rover two-button fob you can borrow to see if it will pick it up.

A two button fob will not work, you need a single button type.

I have tried ringing them today, the phone number is dead and no answer from the mobile number. Had to order one elsewhere.
