Title: Output Shaft bearings
Post by: dazzawhipple on November 22, 2006, 14:42:22
I have a Discovery 200TDI with a leaky output shaft seal on the transfer box

But after investigation the bearings are shot so i need to replace them

How do I do it do I have to split the transfer box apart or can i do it from the outside

Thanks

Darren

By transfer box out put I assume you mean the prop shafts.  If so it can be done with the box still in the car but I'm not sure how as I run a B-W.
