-
Its strange to look at and the bonnet looks silly....Bit long....
-
Rear window's different too... 8)
-
its alright i like the exhuast and the back window but like i said the rear lights spoil it. :(
-
No matter what it looks like, still a Citroen underneath so crap
-
:(biglaugh):
-
what do you think of it dreadnought110 anyway???
-
It's got some great features i.e head up display/swivel headlights/front and rear elctronic adjustable +heated seats and some very neat cubby boxes I like the look in comparisson to previuos citroen's they have gone back to quirky..But i can't help but think it is going to break down the electric's are going to freak totaly and it's going to be worth sod all in 10 years (or less) so nice but i'll stick to the land rover... 8) 8)
-
that just about covers all the problems I had with my last Citroen, forget the 10years bit, try 10 months...
-
With the exception of the heads up display,
it's stuff they've done before, i think early DS's had swivel headlights  ,
and that back window looks alot like my old CX25 and that had leccie seats
overall i think it looks very audi/passatish :?
-
Mind you i would rather have one of these 8) 8)
-
That citroen is FUGLY!
-
Bloody horrendous if i'm honest!!!!!
Couldn't have said it better myself.
-
:(biglove): now that is more like it!
-

ermmm, yes and no.
I had a C5 which was absolutely crap and sold within 3 months of buying it, before that I had and still have my Xantia which has done 300K and has NEVER broken down, leaked oil or needed anything else than brakepads/dics replacing. The Bx I had before that had done over 350K before it rusted to bits
Landrovers, we haven't had much luck with them the 90TD is on its second engine and second chassis and God only knows what number of steeringbox and pump (120K)
Discovery 300Tdi, blew engine (twice) electrics had a habit of failing
RR 4.6HSE disaster, nuff said
LR Disco II : 34 callouts for the AA in two years
All of them were dealer serviced vehicles, we tried different dealers as wel to no avail...... we Did try!!
Traded the whole lot in for a second hand Lexus: 3 years warranty and 110K sofar a blown brakelight.....
Just trying to say if you get a bad specimen its gonna be bad whatever the make, mmm lost my thread now.
Oh yeah: I LIKE citroens and (the Lr90 which we didn't sell  )
I now drive a scooby Forrester for reliabilty, not that good sofar or maybe i am just very unlucky in car choice!
-
I tell ya what it is.
Its another way of getting alot of money out of the unsuspecting buyer.
Yeh thats nice lets buy.....SOLD
Bump.....How much is that to repair.....
How much is a new rear light......WHAT !!! £320......[Edited]
How much is a new Xon headlight WHAT!!! £410........[Edited]
-
Err, YUK :-&
-
I'll stick with my Zuk for the moment. It seems to be reliable. and perfrxt for a bit of fun off road.
-
Buy it now and watch it depreciate faster than falling off a cliff!!
Big pugs and Citroens are really cheap secondhand -most people prefer posh German cars or Jags, or if sensible Range Rovers!!
-
It's going for old school quirkyness and trying too hard IMHO. The last of the 'real' Citroens was the XM, the last of which were actually great cars, although early ones did suffer electrically.
I think one of the most influential cars of all time was the DS. Way ahead of it's time.
One of the most fun cars I have ever owned was a 2CV. Fantastic design, nothing else comes close in those terms. Easy to work on, cheap parts and always raises a smile. I loved it. But doing 15,000 miles a year at the time meant it had to go. It was too much for the old girl.
-
I like it. I won't be buying one, but I think it's a nice looking car. Kudos to the French manufacturers for being a bit different when it comes to design. Like the Peugeot (Pininfarina-styled) coupe, and the new Megane shape which has started a whole new trend for car design.
I'm the only person on the planet who liked the Avantime too.

Sorry, but you're not! It was amazing :D But it was, shall we say, not too popular in the UK
