I might be changing some of these soon on a 96 Ford Mondeo 1.8 hatchback
Anyone know how differcult they are?
I've done my disco ones (many times).
Are they as easy?
:?

Front or back
No is the answer, yo might find them to be an all-in-one or as they are laughingly called "self adjusting" type, big press needed IIRC.
-
Its the front ones.
Hmm, large press...Think i might give it a miss then

If you strip the susp units then take them to the garage with the new bearings they might press them in for you for a few quid.

Last time I had one done on the Focus it was either 35 or 55 quid fitted - cant remember, but either way not bank breaking

On A Modo it's the front knuckle as they come away from the strut. You might end up knacking the CV joint though as they use that silly laminated nut.
