Title: disco 2 clock
Post by: Daz800 on November 25, 2006, 15:34:14
Can anyone please tell me how to remove the clock from my disco as the light bulb needs renewing.
One would think you can get to it from the interior of the car and not go through the bulk head..lol

The clock is virtually a push fit into the dash - you need something really thin and quite strong to slide either side of it to release the (small) clips, a bit like extracting a stereo from the dash.

The usual trick is to use a couple of credit cards, although not ones that you're fond of as they'll get scratched to bits. It's a while since I've had to do this but, IIRC, the retaining clips are on the top and bottom edges. Could be wrong though.

It's one of those jobs that can be really fiddly first time, but oh so easy once you've already done it
