I've just bought a pair of bucket seats off e-bay and ordered a pair of three point securon harnesses...whats the best way to fix them and will i need some sort of base plate?....the harnesses i mean

Depends if you have a roll cage, or roll bar. If you have, then you can fit the rear strap to the roll cage, then the 2 side straps will be best fitted to the original seat belt mounts.

Seatbelts are MOTable, so need to be fitted properly.

If you do not have a roll cage, then the rear strap can be fitted to behind or in front of the bulkhead, depending on your vehicle layout. Just drill a hole and fit a proper seat belt mount spreader.

Thanx....any idea where i can get a seatbelt mount spreader?

I looked into this when i had a mini (real one not one of these BMW things).

Only 2 companies i can think of is minispares and demon tweeks. I think they both sell them.

After saying that do LR companies like britpart sell them? Paddocks maybe, Craddocks, LR supermarket or LRParts.
