Title: headlights from td5 p0st 03 into disco 1 fitment clues !!

watching some face lift disco 2 head lights on ebay ,can any one advise or is there already been a thread covering this mod? :roll:  ta much glyn.

Been after some of them myself, If you fit the earlier '98-'02 td5 headlights (but not the indicators) they fit straight in no messing, I know of a 300tdi that has the newer headlights in (last of td5's) but you have to cut your front wings out, move your headlight mounting plates back (spot welded on), replace trim, rewire etc etc, it can be done as I have seen one but I don't think it will be an easy job!!  If you do it send me some pictures and let me know how it went and I might do it to mine!!

fingers mclean has fitted some of the late facelifted td5 lights to his 300tdi and he has said its not a job for the faint hearted and is an absolute pig of a job :?

I have fitted early Td5 head light to my 300 tdi, they are identical except for a black surrond behind the lens.

They fit the same way as the standard lights
