In a word, No. Gravity can be a real pain sometimes.

Near vertical is when the rear wheels lift of the ground! That's a nice sensation when you feel that happening

A mate of mine went down a near vertical drop at Devils Pit. The rear wheels lifted off the ground as he went down.....Can still hear the screams of the passengers.... :D  :D

It's always hard to tell, because you can never really see the camera angle, but I'd wager I've driven down steeper in the Discovery.  Particularly when the surface he's driving on is pretty solid and not likely to overtake you.

Dosnt look that steep, but camera angle could be deceiving...

I drive down the sides of hills on a daily basis. I would suggest that this one varies between 30 degrees and 45 degrees with maybe a couple of spots being closer to 50 degrees.
It would be similar to the angle on an average house roof. Nothing much if it's a short run, but would make some people uncomfortable if it decended the side of a valley for hundreds of feet.

it sure as heck isnt the lions back though...and decending chapel gate covered in ice is much more unnerving!!

Wonder if he's using low first... or just relying on brakes the way that tassack on the Lion's Back did when he fell off it?

    Americans...!

Is this the same trail, I'd go down that on my bike, hell when I was younger I'd have gone up it.
