Post by: Poprivit-RRC on December 07, 2006, 11:41:20
To cut a long story short as they say.....

I started a new job this year and the main office is in Utah. So when thay asked if i would go over for 3 weeks........I said i think i can do that

right first thing is where is the nearest Edelbrock dealer.......and the rest is history. Saved about £400 on Uk price and that includes postage and import

well here are some pics and my bobtail is going to get some tlc over the holidays :)

I see the Yanks can't spell "carburettor" properly either !
Nice bit of kit that - my mate's got the exact same set up on his 90 V8

so long as it all works i don't care how they spell it

the old carbs are past their best now and i would be better with the taps off the bath :D

so this setup should help things a bit....oh and they look good too and will look better covered in mud

You should be pleasantly surprised at the extra mpg you will get with that set up - not that fuel consumption should ever be an issue with V8's
Fill 'er up and enjoy the sound !

Are they better than the Weber and Holley carbs for side slopes? Both of these suffer fuel starvation. But hey, looks and sounds excellent  :D

just make an adapter to fit over the top of the carb. True it will have to be big but i,m sure that B&Q will be able to help

could just use it on the road   or just get someone to pull me round till it starts
