Solar storms & electromagnetic energy, doubtless the 'tree-hugggers' will try to blame us (& all modern methods of living/travel??)

I think we should chip in and rally around to get funds to send as many tree huggers to the sun as possible to go and protest where it counts.

I'll be glad I traded in my Hilux for a Prius then.....not!

What this country needs to bring it to it's senses is some 'serious' weather to silence the wingeing anti 4x4 band wagoners.

Well with the tornado hitting london yesterday I think it has arrived!!!

I also predicted in the summer we will have a wet winter to about middle of jan beginning of feb then very cold to end of march //beginning of april and we will get about 3inches of snow in the northamptonshire area.

lets see if i am right.

BTW I reckon we will have a wet summer as well. Sorry folks. Next winter will be mild though.

It has snowed here in North Wales a few times over the last 3 weeks. Nothing much though, and only sticking on high ground. It was a nice and  sunny from about 7.30 this morning until the middle of the afternoon.

Strange that it said anything on the news. We could have 6 inches of snow and not even a headline. 1/2 an inch of snow in London or the South and the whole Country has come to a standstill

Sadly that's the way it goes, nothing of interest happens outside of London & the 'home counties'

I go out about 05:15 when I'm on earlies, and the frost seems to be very selective in where it lays.
The 110 stops outside on the pavement & is clear (or just  has condensation), cars 30yards away are white over :?

every year the preachers are screaming "the end is nigh!"

...and every year, the snow shovel gets more use clearing leaves that snow..

even i can see that winters are getting mild and damp, not a patch on the winters of years gone by.. when a bad winter was not been able to physically leave the house for a few weeks at a time... not just on the hilltops.

however, i will not be in a rush to sell the pickup!

A Met Office spokesman said: “When there are incursions of cold, dry air from northern Europe and Russia and moist, warmer air comes in from the Atlantic, you often get snow, so we could get more snow than usual this winter.

That won't be difficult as we have only had about a shovel full here in the last 5 years. :sobsob:  :sobsob:
