Hi everyone i have been a member for a while but too damn busy to be on here.
Anyway mot last week FAILED!
Boot floor, non existent lol discs and pads on front and holes inside rear doors on the arches.
done the brakes and discs all round new seals and pistons all round, only one was leaking but all pistons were badly corroded took an extra three seal kits cos i just kept destroying the wiper seals! just have the boot floor to do now but this weather is holding me back cos have to work outside bugga. any hints and tips on boot would be gratfully recieved.

yeah, as far as i know its not structural, so it shouldn't have been an MOT failure point....

We might both be wrong but I would have said the same!

I agree, it's not leaving a sharp edge that could catch a passenger then
Some MOT testers are not up to scratch!
P.S. I keep fudging the wiper seals too, cack aren't they

Doesn't it fail on the MOt if the rots within a certain distance of the seat belt mounts.

£00 mm, or one standard school ruler.

Done it!! weather wasnt to bad so i got stuck in.
Had to make a few pieces up as well as the actual panel so just got the pieces under the arches to do.
I am in no way an expert at welding but it will do for mot and am happy to help anyone esle to do this what seems a formidable task anytime for a few cups of tea no problem.
Ps.
This was done after spending an hour trying to start the beast!!! for some reason it blew a fuse this morning and had no heater plugs or starter just ignition lights lol still makes a change from immobiliser playing up!!
